Activate Your eSIM
Get connected in 3 simple steps.
1. Install Before You Go
After purchase, you'll get a QR code in your email. Go to your phone's Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM and scan it. We recommend doing this at home as you'll need Wi-Fi.
2. Arrive & Activate
When you land, go to your phone's Cellular settings. Turn OFF your primary line to avoid roaming charges. Then, turn ON your Roamio eSIM and enable Data Roaming for it.
3. Connect & Enjoy
Your phone will automatically connect to the local network. You're now online with high-speed data! Enjoy your trip.
Install Before Departure
You can install your eSIM anytime after purchase, even weeks before you travel. You will need a Wi-Fi or cellular connection for the initial installation only.
Turn Off Your Primary Line to Avoid Roaming Charges
When you arrive, it is crucial to turn OFF your primary/home cellular line in your phone's settings. This prevents your home carrier from charging you expensive international roaming fees.
Enable Data Roaming for Roamio
After turning off your primary line, turn on your Roamio eSIM and make sure to enable 'Data Roaming' for the Roamio line. This allows it to connect to local networks and give you internet access.
